Field Trips: Capitoline Museum

This particular field trip took us to the Capitoline Museum. Filled with so much rich history over the hundreds of years the Roman Empire was in existence, the icing on the cake was the view of the Roman Forum from above. 


 One of the few equine statues still in existence because the Christians mistook Marcus Aurelius as Constantine and did not melt the statue down. 




 The skyline of Rome, which includes St. Peter's Basilica in the distance.
